Infrastructure model as a scientific basis for active development of agro-tourism of Vladimir region

Abstract

Agricultural tourism (agroturism) is now growing. Travel of citizens to the countryside with tourist purposes to understand agriculture, traditions, customs and culture of locals is becoming more popular. The entrepreneur to satisfy the client request by reallocating available resources can overcome the seasonality of this business. Tourism-oriented agro-enterprises receive a development impetus if they are part of the infrastructure model. In studying regional experience, the disclosure of factors contributing to the agritourism development is of primary interest to us. Analyzing the development of the regional agricultural complex and comparing it with the infrastructure model, we managed to identify the stage of its development and propose the trajectory of economic evolution of the object. This article considers the main agritourism development trends in Vladimir region, gives a general description of the placement of agro-industries interesting for the tourist business within the region.
